Anyone want to room together at the hostel?

I reserved online and didn't see anywhere to mention I was with BlogHer. I sent them an e-mail alerting them to this. Should I do something else Kristy?

I was wondering if anyone out there was interested in trying to room together at hostel. Either way, so glad to hear others are taking advantage of this option - I'll be there!

My apologies for the confusion. The Hostel tells me they have fixed the problem and it's all worked out now.

I got passed around between quite a few people before ending up back with the reservation desk. Instead of telling them that I was with BlogHer, I just inquired about the dates I wanted. Turns out there were plenty of regular rooms (including private ones) without the discount. I just went ahead and reserved it to be safe. I'm sure they'll get things figured out soon, but I wasn't going to wait, as this was my last option! It was very affordable.

Elisa is right -- I'll be putting together another FAQ this year, so keep an eye out for that.

In addition, we're putting together an entire online pre-event packet for all attendees, so that everyone will know where to go, what to look for (and how to be a little greener) at the conference. :)

Hi merlotmom:

Last year Kristy wrote this FAQ about the conference.

While all of the travel-related stuff is obviously not applicable, she also wrote stuff about what to wear and what to bring that is absolutely still applicable.

I'm sure she'll update the whole thing for this year, but in the meantime, I hope this helps.

Hi Kristy, I was wondering if you could post a what-to-bring checklist for first-timers. Laptops, business cards, etc. Unaware of how the conference works, I want to come prepared so I can get the most of BlogHer. Looking forward to meeting everyone. Very excited.
