We did ask them to convert a men's room to a women's room...

But they converted the one on the third floor near the rooftop terrace, so I don't think it was the most obvious...I never saw anyone but me go in there :)

I think because the public could still access other parts of the facility they didn't want to convert a more obvious one.

But, yes, every year in fact we've had them turn some of the men's rooms over to the womens :)

...because cheap flights are available, but then there's always the fear that I'd miss sessions because I was winning at Blackjack.

If I can find a way to attend BlogHer next year, I will, no matter where it's held.

I put it on my survey, but want to chime in here too: Make sure to consider the restroom facilities when choosing next year's venue. The long lines at Navy Pier meant many of us were late to sessions. I can't believe that a conference facility wouldn't have more than a couple of women's stalls on each floor.

Vegas sounds good! The National Flute Convention held their annual event there a few years ago in August and aside from the 110 degree heat outside and a sinus condition, I had fun.

I was completing the last question in the survey and was about to click on Submit. Before I could do so, I was taken to the intro page of the survey. By chance did the completed survey come through. If not, has this happened to others?

Sorry about that, I messed up the skip logic on that question, and they won't let you edit skip logic on a live survey :(

So, here's what I did: the only other "mandatory" question on the first page is now the one about how you feel about our 100% women speaking roster (which anyone can weigh in on, not just those who attended, after all.)

The skip logic works on the next pages, so as long as you keep answering "no, I did not attend day one, day two, the OpenSpace" etc. with just a couple of extra clicks you should get to the end where the topic and location voting happens.

Again, sorry...please give it another go!

As well as you can without having attended. The only fields required are the * fields and you can answer based on how you think you'll feel next year.... so the swag question, how do you think you'll feel about having swag at a conference next year. That works. :-)

Thanks Virginia, sorry you couldn't attend.

The examples were for discussing the syntax of the properties and values really, the selector was just for placement. I believe all of the examples on the site would work for ID elements as well, you would just swap the "." out for a "#"

Thanks for leaving a comment! I guess a list of thing not to send might be very helpful too huh..? Sorry about that.

Mainly, the things that aren't allowed to be sent are any type of porn, flammable items i.e. lighters or hairspray, sharp objects, and glass. If there is anythinig else you need to know, please feel free to ask!
