There are so many nursery necessities that I love, but I asbolutely could not live without my Angelcare Deluxe Movement Monitor. My husband and I sleep soundly even with our 4 month old upstairs (the master bedroom is downstairs). The monitor not only lets us know if there is no movement for 10 seconds, but also allows us to listen to our son and reads the temperature of the room. We are so in love with this monitor that we take it everywhere we go! Every mother should invest in one!

.....my baby slings! I have a baby k'tan and a hotsling. I love both of them! I recently order a mai tai sling and I can't wait to try it out. I LOVE babywearing! It reduced fussiness and colic in the early weeks. Now, she loves to be carried everywhere we go.

My nursery must have was the mesh feeder. My daughter had such a hard time with teething.. I could put frozen watermelon, etc. in there and she LOved IT..

When I have a great hair day it usually brightens my day. I'm pretty boring when it comes to styling my hair and don't really do anything great. But sometimes when I try out something new and it looks good, it really makes my day even better.

When I'm having a great hair day, I feel better about myself, I have more confidence. As a middle school teacher, a bad hair day also sets me up to be mocked by my students. Because my hair if often purple or orange or blue, it gets noticed!

I just recently turned 40 and now my thick hair is so dull...I would love to be able to leave the house without my normal ponytail!

Swaddling Blanket Was a MUST

After my daughter not sleeping well at all, we decided to swaddle her again and it made SUCH a huge difference, I will never be without a good large swaddling blanket for our future kids. We went from about 1 or 2 5 minute naps at 6 months and waking 4-5 times a night to 2 1 1/2 hour naps a day and waking only once at night. My swaddling blanket saved my sanity and taught my daughter to be a good sleeper. I just wish I had used it from the start!

My Must Have Item - A Digetal Video Monitor

I dont know what I would do without this thing. I had one of the analog style monitors, but the picture would fade out. The digetal monitor has a strong signal, clear picture, night vision and motion detector. It also has a "night light" feature that I can turn on from the hand hald base that is blue and allows me to see, but doesn't wake him.

Swaddle Blanket

My must-have is a swaddle blanket - the kind with the tabs and velcro to make it easy to swaddle and keeps it from coming apart. My husband was a master swaddler with any type of blanket but I was a iserable failure until I found one with velcro!
