Yes -- you're on to something! When the Moon moves through your sign, it's a "green light day" as I learned from astrologer Debbie Kempton Smith many years ago! This period lasts 2-3 days and happens once a month.

I'm on the cusp of Scorpio/Sag and wondered (keeping in mind, I know NOTHING about astrology, but it interests me nonetheless)...does the moon entering Scorpio affect Scorpios more intensely than other signs?

thanks so much for your comment. Our horoscopes are written according to where the moon is in relation to your sun sign. It is the very tip of the iceberg but a good place to start. The moon governs our emotions so is a good indicator of how you are feeling.

I have bookmarked your site and visit every morning along with several others. As I read and become more familiar with astrology, I am amazed at it's accuracy in how my days play out, not so much from a specific event happening but from an emotional place. Many times I will wake up and be mindful of how I am feeling--weary, elated, sad...and when I read my horoscopes they are pretty true to what is happening for me.

I agree! In Astrology, the Fool is also associated with the trickster planet Mercury, messenger of the gods, who delivers his missive and then vanishes -- before the head gets chopped off!

I've always equated the fool with Shakespeare's fools who so eloquently capture essence irony and inversion.

Inversion is the element that I most like in fools and jesters. It is a thin line they walk in order to call attention to the boastful, innane, or just plain dumb things happening around them without getting their heads chopped off.

The fool is a grossly underused cultural communication tool in today's world.
