Good travels to you!

I pray for smooth traveling for you on this long journey. I am traveling to Kazakhstan on June 20th to help install some bathrooms in orphanages. Right now, they are having to take two trips into town to use the bathroom. I agree with what you said, it is extremely hard to take artistic risk when you are consumed by the fact that your life may be at risk at any given moment.

However, when left with only chaos humanity can demonstrate a brilliant process of creation. I find that our greatest amount of creativity comes from the greatest amount of limitations.

Love,

The blogging of art

Thanks for these links. I'm going to be visiting your site as well as Indie/Pretty/Perfect quite often. I look forward to watching Paulette Insall's progress - what a great idea. I was somewhat surprised by article on Personism: are there really so few of us out there of note? I doubt it, but it can take a while to wade through the millions of blogs out there to find the artists. I've just begun to collect some artist's blog of note and haven't found as many as I thought I would. I am blogging myself and looking at/reading other's artists' blogs is so important. I do hope you continue to keep listing your finds!

You might want to check out Sarah Leavitt's blog. She is a writer and a comic artist and is very funny and amusing:

http://www.sarahleavitt.com/word/?cat=2

And if you'll allow me to toot my own horn, I have a blog wherein I highlight my visual art and my experience with chronic pain:

www.mybodyofwork.blogspot.com

I use my graphic design skills in my other blog that is a humourous look at the advice doled out to those living with chronic illness:

www.chronicholiday.blogspot.com

I look forward to reading your posts on Blogher!

Glad you asked!

Hi, Franki!

'm mostly interested in sites/blogs that feature art (photography, illustration, drawing, painting, collage, mixed media--you name it) as well as the artists who create the work & illuminate the process. I also want to highlight blogs that illustrate how beautiful design can be applied to all aspects of life.

Does that help?

So glad you stopped by and I hope you come back often!

What a coincidence, this

What a coincidence, this week marks my first week as a blogger, and I stumbled on this website purly by accident.
When you say art and design, are you talking about art in general, or home decore or what???
