That looks like a great stocking stuffer for all of the women in my family. I'd definitely throw one in my laptop bag for work trips. I made the mistake on my very first business trip of not bringing anything for a headache or bandaids for blisters and suffered the entire first day. Never again...

This is sooooo funny. Yeah, getting all that into such a small space is a feat in itself. I wonder how many scientists they needed to get it all so small?

Great thing to have. Am going to look for one for myself now, and also get a bunch for presents for people. Have go friends coming this weekend to stay over, so they'll definitely be getting one!

I understand Skinchik had a bad experience with them, but I've heard good things from others. I'd like to try Sophyto for myself, but I don't want to get ripped off like Skinchick. What stores are they in?

I hate hard, fast rules about fashion. I'm wearing a lot of the same things I wore in my twenties, even though I'm well into my thirties now. I've reluctantly given up a few things...

Grown out of:

Message tees, concert shirts (I have them, I just don't wear them), hair color not seen in nature, black nail polish (geez, I'm painting a picture of myself as a rebellious goth/punk), chunky heels, clothing that is cheap and disposable.

Grown into:

Brows - I'm a chronic over-plucker. Fortunately mine did grow back.

A great jacket/blazer

Never let go:

Heels

A good pair of jeans

Long hair - I know the experts recommend cutting after 35, but I can't rock a chin-length bob. I'm a long hair girl. I plan on rocking a long, gray braid.

I'm not talking about how much I pay for them, I'm referring to the quality and the trendiness of them. I used to pile up on cotton shirts in 16 different colors or jeans that looked so similar who would know I had changed.

Now I buy well made statement pieces that will carry through time. Then I have a whole set of staples from black leggings to cocktail dresses and a dinner coat.

I'm a lot happier with my identity now that I don't buy into marketing gimmicks.

A few years ago I decided comfort before fashion and semi gave up heels. Now that I'm a glamour-less mom, I'm taking them up again for the right occasions (at night...). And only if they're somewhat comfortable. As for eye makeup, I've recently added more to my repertoire. Because I think black eyes add to my "mystery." ;)

No glitter for this Mama.

I have most definitely grown into dresses and skirts in the past two years. Maybe it was just perceptions, but I feel like they used to be viewed as "way too formal". (Maybe all those 90s grungy years) but now, it's a casual or more dressy option. LOVE the summer - throw on a casual dress, my comfy sandals and go.

I've also grown into short hair. My hair has gotten rather thin and fine over the years (I'm not that old but I had a wild, thick, curly mane as a kid - now it's thinner, straighter.) Long hair never really looked "good" but short hair is so easy and embraces the thin, fine aspects.

Oh and I've definitely grown out of glitter, into shimmer and sheen in terms of makeup. Love a colored lip - I tend toward pinks, but I want to find the right red for me. And also grown into blush, which I used to find unncessary. But it adds a nice touch.

I think the point is that growing into your style means finding what works for you. Maybe we could do a heel-red lipstick swap?

Isn't it funny -- I'm the exact opposite of you!

When I was younger I was 100% heel-intolerant, but have learned that for me it's all about the shoe quality, type and fit -- certain heels I'm just fine in all day long. And it took me about 20 years to realize that unless I'm 100% made up and destined only for dim lighting, red lipstick usually just doesn't work on my freckly face.

Other out-ofs: Glitter (thank god), high-upkeep manicures, coloring my hair.

Other intos: Glasses sometimes as opposed to 100% contacts.

Always: Boots and dresses.
