It is said food is the way to a mans heart

I find food also does something to a man too, after an argument and we have solved an issue, I make him something to eat and he is very happy and satisfied.

The other day we were having stress because of our move, and we were both cranky and saying things we did not mean. After we apologized I asked him if he wanted a grill cheese, it was lunch time. And his whole demeanor changed, and he was laughing and smiling and carrying on. His favorite lunch is grill cheese.

Unrealistic diet...like all the others

So what happens when the individual returns to eating normal food...oh wait, I know, they gain it all back with a vengeance. I admit that most diets out there that promote a quick fix can sometimes be convincing on paper and when one is desperate to loose a few pounds, you know, to get you started on the weight loss wagon. But then it all come crashing down and the anxiety and stress from the let down of a promising product kicks in which makes everything worse. It's such a terrible cycle to be in...been there, done that and know better to never to do it again. Thanks for posting this, very important message.

http://www.familyinshape.typepad.com http://w

I'm so excited about how this community is growing!

Please add my blog -- Adventures in Living Gluten-Free -- to your list. As someone with celiac disease, I cover all things gluten-free, but I also discuss other aspects of having an autoimmune disorder, like related food allergies. I'm not only gluten- and casein-free, but soy- and sesame-free as well.
