GREAT POST !! ITS AMAZING WHAT GOES ON BACKSTAGE..AND HOW MUCH IS PUT INTO THE DETAIL OF A CERTAIN COLLECTION...I LOVE TO SEE DETAILS..I LOVE DETAILS...AND HAIR IS SO IMPORTANT...I TRY TO FOLLOW THE TRENDS WITH MY HAIR..I AM RIGHT IN THE STAGES OF GROWING OUT MY POSH DO..THAT I LOVED..BUT YOU KIND OF GET BORED OF IT WHEN YOU SEE 150 PEOPLE WITH THE SAME CUT...SO NOW IM GOING FOR THAT LONG BOHEMIAN LOOK..I LOVE THE WAY MEG RYANS HAIR LOOKED IN THE MOVIE THE WOMAN..DID YOU SEE IT..TAKE CARE.. love mishxoxo

Thanks for these behind-the-scenes tips. I've always thought that if I had to choose between having a fashion stylist or a hair stylist follow me around all day, I'd go with the hair. Wouldn't most women???

I swear, if I still had my old Purple Rain t-shirt I would wear it all the time. I can absolutely see you wearing your Poison tee with artfully bleached jeans, a sparkly blazer and killer heels a la Balmain!

That being said, the grunge-glam/rock chic/gypsies-tramps-and-thieves looks from the fall runways were some of my favorites. It's so fantastic that you got to experience it live!

I love and wear both Kors and Lepore, but it sounds like Lepore has the happier look for Fall. The 80's were all about conspicuous consumption, and who feels that mood now? The gypsy looks were more a 70's, free love look. I think that may be more suited for our current economical climate. But what do I know? Hollywood is rocking 300 dollar ripped jeans right now in an effort to be more real,lol. And we know in the end whichever vibe H-Wood chooses to embrace will be what trend trickles down to us.

i love that you got to hear about '09 trends from Todd Okerstrom...i'm just not sure how i feel about the leather...skinny pants and high shoes i can do...but leather? and bigger shoulders?
