I love most of these shoes,

I love most of these shoes, but I don't think that they'd work in my every day life. The heels, they are so fab they bring a tear to my eye, but I am home 98% of the time with two boys 2yrs and 4 months, so they are not so practical. The flats are adorable but the pants/jeans I wear tend to be flared leg and I just don't think they would look right. Maybe I am wrong. It'd be nice to be wrong. Consequently I wear a pair of black flip-flops every.single.day.

Of course I live in Los Angeles, so they are sorta hip LOL

The fashion industry really doesn't care...

about you if you're not over 5'7" and smaller than a 6. I run a blog called Shorty Stories (see link below), and have posted the link and comments based on things in my blog on fashion sites, and have only had negative feedback. I've also made videos urging fashion media to promote non-standard sized designers, and the best news I've received has been along the lines of "we'll look into it."

Sad, IMHO.

my blogs:

Try a peep toe pump . . .

or a knee-high boot.

And the trick to keeping the embellished flat from looking too schoolgirlish is what you wear them with; choose slim full-length trousers or a pencil skirt over an A line skirt, if you can. Look also at a cap toe flat, which is a more sophisticated style than a typical ballet flat.

Shoes for Autumn

I went shopping last week here in Italy to see what was available toi the ordinary woman-- versus the high end shops. It was really discouraging. I have skinny legs, so I can wear the bootie, but I'm not tall and they do mess with proportions and they make me look like Minnie Mouse.

On my research trip I liked the riding boots, a few of the oxfords, the ladylike heeled oxford and that was about it.

Of your offerings I really like that Anyi Liu cap toe pump. I wear flats a lot, but the decorated ones just look too juvenile on me.

I guess it's too late for me to make 5'-10"?
