That mascara IS the best ever. Eyeliner is good--but it's not as 'special' as the mascara.

Tried BLINC mascara after reading this post and LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. It's definitely a splurge, but never smears or rubs off or leaves circles. Not having to think about it after applying is worth the extra fifteen bucks. I'm wondering: Have you tried their eyeliner? I'm curious if it's as good.

Yum. Totally agree that this holiday's freedom from gifts ROCKS. Your recipe makes me hungry for day-after-thanksgiving sandwiches-- turkey, cranberry, stuffing. All the relatives are gone and I can eat in peace!

Downtime at home

I'm so looking forward to not going away this winter. I plan on reading lots and lots of books and catching up with friends that I don't see often. There's nothing better than having some time to actually relax. Vacations are often stressful -- planning flights, hotels, itinerary. Looks like I'm taking a vacation from vacations.

I think these ideas will come in handy this winter if we're not able to go away. I already used the term "staycation" with my kids when they were off from school in early November, and they got into it. Looking forward to getting the new book, BITCHES ON A BUDGET for more fun ideas.
