Thanks, grooveymom. Wow, you were only 11 - that must have been SO hard. Hopefully you've been able to hold some memories of her in your heart...did you have many pictures to remember her by?

I found the View All posts, and I figured out how to do my profile, so that's real progress right there, eh? ;)

as for blogher, I am fairly new to it as well, your post shows up on View all posts. When you are on the home page the posts shown are from the Blog editors...not sure how you become one of those....but if you click on view all posts, you can see all posts there. They are posted from the most current.....so to see yours go down and click on a few pages back to find it. If you have questions, just post them, people here are very eager to help.

We talked once about dealing with the mutilation of her body as a still-young and much-vibrant woman, especially since even many many years later, my father had still never seen her mastectomy-ravaged body in the light. She shared his perfect words of comfort, "Your father tells me that during moments of intimacy, if he happens to notice, the scars remind him how lucky he is that I am alive." And then she cried.
