 <description>&lt;p&gt;Thanks for posting about December 17th. It&#039;s not just that we need non-sex workers to speak up for sex workers, but we need people to listen to us and include us in conversations about things that affect us. If I frequently feel anxious about and unwelcome in feminist spaces, I can&#039;t even imagine how the majority of sex workers feel.&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Thank you for this wonderful post. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It never fails to astound me and yet not astound me at the same time, that what should be a straightforward issue provokes so much controversy, even among self-identified feminists. To me it&#039;s simple: sex workers rights are human rights. I don&#039;t understand where the &quot;controversy&quot; in that statement is, but yet somehow it always becomes a debate. And yet this is not an &quot;issue&quot; to &quot;debate&quot; - these are people&#039;s lives. It does not matter what someone personally might think about the sex industry. The fact of the matter is sex workers deserve the rights the rest of us enjoy.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As one of the signs said in the march in DC today... only rights will stop the wrongs.&lt;/p&gt;
