How fun to be listed for Thanksgiving ideas; I HAVE to bookmark this roundup for next year. Awesome reference.

You amaze me; where do you find all the time to write and cook and teach and everything?

Hope you are enjoying the holiday season! (Oh, it took me six rounds to finally get the 'green bean casserole' right for thanksgiving... and yet it is DEC 12:). Where does the time go:)?

Done that spelling thing, just backfired last year before Christmas when my husband and I decided to talk about what t-o-y-s we wanted to buy and my then three year old game running saying "Yeah, let's get some toys!"

So much for keeping secrets.

Hi Karina,
Luckily it's not snowing here. I hate snow, even though all my students look at my like I'm a hopeless curmudgeon when I say it. Unfortunately even without snow I've got a bad cold so I'm home from my sister's now and just laying around the house drinking tea! Still, not a bad holiday, and I love being home just hanging out (which I never get to do that much of!)

I really enjoyed your describtion of the scene in the supermarket. I am thankful to see, that more people are choosing to do something, anything they can to make other peoples lives more enjoyable whenever they can.

Earing local sounds good. I am not going to cook the turkey though. It is a lot of work. So hopefully, that the turkey is raised and cooked not too far from me.
