Leggings for All

It’s time that we ALL wear leggings. Choose a well made pair - not with cotton fibers that bag out over time but a high tech fiber that retains its shape. Get over the body image constraints and just wear them. Go for the comfort and support. Leggings that go to the ankle have a greater positive visual aesthetic than capri style that chop the leg. Plus the full length leggings support you from your ankle to your waist and give you an energetic lift. Laugh, Live, Love & Enjoy!
Sexy Sophisticate

High heels and leggings can be very sexy ladies!!! Don'l shy away from this combination, you'd be missing out! I wear black cotton leggings with simple square 3-inch black pumps from Via Spiga and get compliments every time.
Thick cotton leggings are particulalry cute with sexy heels- in winter especially. This offers an excellent sexy alternative!!!!

Great if you are 5'5' and weigh 100 lbs.

Nobody with an extra pound of fat would look good in this outfit.
Audrey Hepburn - yes.... but since most of us carry just a litte more than her - you just end up looking like you are trying to hide something.

Cute AND washable

Thoughtful, you are right: this particular dress is dry clean only. HOWEVER, there are lots of machine and hand-washable options out there; Target and Old Navy have some really cute tunic and sweater dresses just now.

I would also suggest that unless you have wee small children who use you as a napkin all day, dry clean only isn't a deal-breaker. Most dry clean pieces can be worn more than once before they need to be cleaned, and often they are better made and better fitting (because they are made of higher quality fabrics and are often sold at a higher price point).

But yes, machine washable is both good and totally doable.

And Judith, just because people wear hoodies to weddings does NOT mean it's okay. But I suspect you knew that.

Oh yeah?

Unfortunately, there are people who would wear a hoodie or footless tights to a wedding. This summer I saw both, as well as a cocktail dress with cutouts that made the mayor blush.

So cute, but you can toss your jeans, tees and yoga pants into the washer. This particular dress requires dry cleaning. Must keep searching for a washable version!
