I figure that if the commenter gets offended at having their comment sanitized, well, then too bad. If the comment was so rude that it needed heavy editing, I don't really care if they don't come back. If the commenter realizes that I've stripped out the nasty parts and they get the message and still want to play, then that's great for both of us.
