You have some great suggestions here. I'd also add www.disaboom.com. I'm a writer there but also a huge fan. The discussion boards and blogs are great. There's also a large and frequently updated article section for parents of children with special needs. Hope you enjoy it!

Yes! To answer your question: Is this a newsworthy topic? Absolutely! We parents have got to re-educate ouselves and our educators. The school bully is no longer "Butch" and the image that comes to mind. 21st Century bullies come in all shapes, sizes, colors, religions, boys and girls alike.

With all the gadgets, video games, and TV shows that we parents use as babysitters, is it any wonder that the modern day bully is turning to the internet for a quick fix of his/her favorite drug,POWER? We have to get a handle on this. How many school shootings is it going to take for parents, educators, and law enforcement to put a stop to it? We all have to get involved and take action now. I created my blog (http://momsagainstbullying.blogspot.com) in an effort to bring parents and educators together to find solutions. Our kids are worth it.

I worked at a printshop so we had regular customers. We were open Mon-Friday. We were also NOT on commission.

One Saturday I was at home. I got a phone call.

Me: Hello
Customer: Hi Sue it's Chris from Doofus Technologies. I need to pick up my order.
Me: Pardon me?
Customer: It's Chris, I'm sorry I didn't make it in this week but I really need to pick up those envelopes.
Me: How did you get my number?
Chris: I looked it up in the phone book. Aren't I good?
Me: Um, actually Chris, I'd prefer if you didn't call me at home. I'm not working right now.
Chris: It would just take a few minutes for you to unlock the doors and give me my order. Do me a favor?
Me: No, sorry, this is my day off.
Chris: I can't believe this.
Me: Quite frankly, I can't, either.

He had the nuts to call the owner and complain. The owner asked me what happened, and when I told him, he laughed til he got tears in his eyes.

Oh, this is almost evil...
