First of all, I think Wanda has one of the most wonderful voices for comedy and for telling it like it is. Her intonation is funny, quirky and great for setting up her comments. She's bright, bold and on a roll. I will check her show out when I'm not out dancing!

I have always loved Wanda Sykes. She is a riot and says what's on her mind, which is a rarity.

I watched her on Wendy Williams last night and as usual, she was right on the money. Her best lines came when Wendy asked her about coming out and how she felt, who she told first, and how they responded. The quick answer? 'Why does everyone want to know that? It's not like I had to come out and tell my parents and friends that I was black!

Being a lesbian was just one more piece of her as a whole. Love her!!

And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.

She has a talent for saying what's on everyone's mind...

As in her campaign against the use of the word "gay" to mean "stupid." I think she will be the perfect addition to late night TV - she's a lot funnier than the guys who make up the current roster, and she injects a lot of social and racial awareness into her work.

Plus, she's the only reason to watch Pootie Tang.

Ellen was much funnier doing stand-up than in her sit-com. Her talk show seems to be working for her.

Hopefully Wanda will see the same success. She was so much funnier with Ima be Me than I ever saw her on Inside the NFL and the sit-coms she was in (although one day while channel surfing I came across her telling Larry David to "Shut the hell up," which, frankly I appreciated). Her stand up show proved that she was not only funny in her own right, but she's got a refreshing POV and is interesting to listen to.

It doesn't seem that FOX took that much of a risk putting her on Sat at 11. I think her target audience is much older than SNL; the question for me is - will they still be awake?

It seems like ever since Wanda came out of the closet, it has freed her up internally and she has NEVER been THIS FUNNY!!!! I saw her "I'm a Be Me" HBO special. No amount of kegels could keep me from wetting my pants when she did her schtick on male enhancement drugs or getting waxed.

Thanks for the heads up! My son is going as Charlie Brown Ghost for Halloween- we will have to enter!
