The double standard rears its ugly little head. Again. While I do recognize that there are different ways that men and women like to be courted, and the whole mars and venus bit of it all, I do dislike the short end of the stick. www.floridagirlmidwest.blogspot.com

So is the point that we're supposed to have affairs with married men?

Catchy title though.

I agree with you. Just another spin on "The Rules".

BTW: Wasn't Kate Hepburn totally scandalous for having a long affair with married man, Spencer Tracy.

I mean, seriously.

Probably because I'm not a man

And I'm not terribly sentimental. But I don't see why people are getting excited about this woman. She's a prostitute.

She may be intelligent and highly paid. But she's still selling sex.

Though I can't imagine who would pay her for family and marriage therapy in the future. You're kidding right? Marriage counseling, from a hooker? But with the huge amount she's getting for selling her body she won't need therapy customers to earn a living.

Christine

wake up call

Wow! I couldnt imagine not having children myself. I can see being on the other side because im 21. Great job for staying calm when she told you and not yelling at her for what she had did but trying to help. You would be surprised how many parents do that. I think its great that she felt she could tell you that. I hope that one day my daughter can talk to me about anything Id rather know then not know. I would of loved to have that relationship with my mom. Just think what if she was scared to tell you and she kept that to herself. She would of had long-term emotional damage and she could of been in the bathroom by herself and not of awaken. I think all in all your an A plus mom and its great she can come to you.

:)

My first found me about five years ago. We chatted on the phone for like 5 hours, but when I hung up I thought, damn, that guy is still a pompous ass.

I don't even want to know what he thought about me!
