 <description>&lt;p&gt;Not everyone wants to talk about it.  And that&#039;s perfectly okay.  Some people, once they get through it, are happy to leave it put away forever.  I&#039;m especially noisy, so I&#039;m happy to do some talking in place of those who would rather move on!&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;I agree--Postpartum Depression is extremely common, although for those who have experienced it, it can be incredibly alienating.  I wonder why people aren&#039;t more willing to talk about it--and I have no suggestions to offer, since...well, I&#039;m not willing to talk about it!!!   &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;PPD is something that needs to be talked about more.  I kept silent about my own PPD and it wasn&#039;t until after I recovered that I discovered my mother in law went through it too.  She would have been a rock of support had I been able to share. &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

Great.  I mentioned her book on your blog awhile back.  I&#039;m glad to see this candid interview at blogher.  Her advice on not giving up while seeking help is tremendously important.  This does get better!&lt;/p&gt;
