Today I was looking for something to Distract me. Yes, that is "distract" with a capital "D". My own blogroll had been read and I had reached the end of my usual internet haunts. It was BlogHer's Canadian blogroll to my rescue. Here's a sampling of some of the much needed distractions I found there today.
Much has been said about Canada's performance at Beijing Summer Olympics. wants to know what you think.
At It's Not All Mary Poppins, MaryP is feeling wistful about her SAHM days.
You know, some days I really miss being a SAHM.
Being on holiday while at home causes flashbacks to those days, days when I didn’t have five extra tots in the house, only my own three. Days that opened before us with only our own desires to fill the hours. Nothing critical, nothing pending, just the decision of park or library, crafts or cooking.
There was a big purge atI'd Rather Be Blogging. I'm all for decluttering but I don't have to do it right now do I? Please?
It's Ok to be Weird reflects on how she and her husband came to live in Canada.
Tango Musings is talking about balance. What is it and where can we find some? Linda wrote about balance once before where she asked if we all lead unbalance lives.
That made me think of goals and how to get things done (in a balanced way of course). I was pleased and surprised when I found these sticky notes at The Life of a Cupcake. I want some of those!
