Here is the scoop. After years sitting on my ass alone and not having enough fun, even after all the segments of Hulu have passed my sleepy eyes and lulled me to sleep, my friends and family have finally convinced me to accept the fact that I am getting older and not having enough sex. I really didn't miss it much for the longest time. I told my brother in law, that the cave has grown cobwebs and anyone entering would have to have the magic sword that brandished all evil spells from past relationships to get in. Really, I was just being silly because deep down in my heart, I knew the day would come that I would be ready to enter the realm oj dating once again.
Well, it has arrived, and I have entered my profile on a web site that seems to attract the type of guy who wants more than just a casual sexual fling. Although most men would be happy for that, and most women, perhaps as well, if they are honest, I seek a more intimate partner who would not only like to gaze into my eyes as he strokes his Viagra bottle, but who would also like to go to a play or movie now and then. I have had enough solo journeys to those things to know, that sharing a good conversation, is far superior to skipping out as fast as possible post curtain call in order to avoid being seen as atttending without a partner.
My online dating entry profile is set and seems an honest reflection about my likes and dislikes, as far as I can tell. My photos on the other hand, are not professional nor airbrushed, so I look my age and quite frankly, not as hot as I would like to think I am. However, that being said, I did my digital poses and even put on the make up to look more alive. I did my hair and posed as though I had a come fuck me look in my eyes. My friend years ago said that a sexy woman could eat you with her eyes. Well I have bags under mine so that means I can put the left overs in my car when I go home.
So far, my responses are not so great. All the men I would like to like me, just seem to pass me by. The hot ones who I would jump on, are in a much younger age bracket. So much for Demi Moore cougar extrodinaire and her affair. We all see how that ended. Anyway I decided I had to become more pro active.No, not the acne cream Proactivce, although this does seem to blemish my ego a bit. I started emailing the guys who I thought I might be willing to give a chance even if they didn't quite look like Prince Charing.
Oddly, since I began to go after my prey, I am getting some nice responses. There are rules to this online game apparently and as a new bee, I am still learning how this works. Since my starting strategy, of being the first to write to potential suitors, I now have four different conversations going with total strangers who all look like they could be really nice men. I will give it a shot and see who gets the keys to the kingdom first. It could be one of them or any new one who joins in this week....or the next. No hurry, maye. We will have to see how things develop.
The first one should be calling tonight and we will see if there is anything to talk about. I will try to be civil and polite and not scare anyone away. I can be quite shocking when bored or when scared. Those are two obviously bad behavioral substrates for me. The next bad choice I make is when I am really nervous and want so much to please someone that I over extend on the giving side. Believe me, no man wants someone who is a push over. No actually, they seem to prefer to be on the side that gets pushed. At least that is how it appears after years of observation.
