Debate On!

Here’s an idea. If McCain is unable or unwilling to participate in the debate on Friday why not invite Bob Barr? He’s
not likely to have any effect on Obama voters and has a long history of
conservatism so there would be a difference of opinion. I’ve been
curious about what would happen to the poll results if he were added in
to the mix so why not? He and Ralph Nader are already on the ballot in most of the states so it will be a possible choice for the voters.

And for those of you who say “Add Nader too”, I tell the three of you to shut up! I see no reason whatsoever for his run this time. If you’ve got some secret knowledge then do let us all know. If not then we’ll just leave it there.

I think that would be a fantastic debate

Especially since what is happening right now in congress is in part the result of the deregulation debate. Bob Barr would be a great speaker on that issue, whereas McCain appears to be wishing we'd all just forget he once opposed regulation. I'd love to see a democrat and a libertarian really throw all their cards down on the table and talk about it.

Debate status

Well according to the McCain campaign he will be participating in the debate tonight. We've discussed making a drinking game out of the whole thing. Everytime McCain says my friends or reform or Obama says hope or change. We should be loaded in about 20 minutes.
