Diana Nyad: Extreme Dream Take Two
Endurance swimmer Diana Nyad is back in the water. Yesterday, Nyad began a second attempt in as many months at a 103-mile world-record swim from Cuba to Florida.
The 62-year-old Nyad says she now thinks her August attempt, which she was forced to abandon after 29 hours, was an unplanned “dress rehearsal”.

On her blog, Nyad's support team wrote this morning:
After a challenging night. Diana seems to be gaining strength. Her rest times per hour are less and less. At 10:55am, she just had a hydration and a full feeding, and her stroke is beginning to be stronger.
A bit later on Saturday:
At 3:15pm today, Diana is now 35 statutory miles from Havana about one-third of the way to Florida
