Divorce Touches Us All

If I continued driving for a few more hours I would make it to B.C.’s beautiful Wine Country.  I could sample some ice wine, I’m thinking as my windshield wipers barely keep pace with the smashing rain drops.  I’m on my way to the Women’s Expo in Chilliwack, B.C..  It’s about a 1.5 hr drive from my home.  But it’s worth every kilometer.  For the first time, I have been face to face with my potential readers and audience of my book.  It’s a visceral experience.  I’m not sure if I’ll be snubbed by the religious women or embraced by the suffering.  I’ve experienced both.  The fact is my book causes an emotional reaction by almost everyone.  So, although the book sales were great, the reactions and women’s stories were even better. ...to read the whole post http://www.lisathomsonlive.com/divorce-touches-us-all/#
