DIY to Eff-It: A Cautionary Christmas Tale
By AFewGoodJens on December 26, 2013
Look at this spectacular Christmas wreath I made!!! Aren’t you impressed with the glitter tulle? And the flowers?
You aren’t seeing things – there is no wreath there. All of this stuff is what I bought to make the Christmas Wreath that I decided was a genius idea while I was on a 48-hour, Hobby Lobby bender. I was filled with glorious ideas of decorating projects that would make my house sparkle with holiday cheer.
I’ve been so insane this holiday season that I never got to it. You know the phrase “Best Laid Plans”? Yep, that describes my intentions.
Then reality set in.
Everything else I managed to complete. It might not have been blogged about yet (best laid plans, remember??) but it was done.
Except the wreath. This stuff has been sitting on the table, taunting me. And now, Christmas is over and it makes no sense to assemble it only to stick it in a box of holiday decorations in a week.
So use your imagination and I’ll post it next year. It’s just like the Halloween one except in red and green. With sparkles. And glitter flowers.
