Skin care you can also drink or eat sounds healthy, but does it work? According to Hiroko Tabuchi's article in the WSJ, skin-products expert Lina Tanaka believes the medicinal properties of green tea make it great for your daily skin care regimen too. How does green tea help your skin? According to the WSJ article, "Green tea contains chemical substances called polyphenols, which are antioxidants that mitigate the damage free radicals cause to the skin." Here are a few of Tanaka's tips from the WSJ : I am not a skin care expert or a doctor so I can't personally say how beneficial green tea is for your skin, but it feels delightful.
