I've been wanting to read the Sookie Stackhouse series forever, but live in Paris and have no money to spend on books -- and it's harder to find used copies here! I adore the show True Blood, and would like to read the original inspiration for the series.

If I were 13, though, I'd probably like Twilight. At 42? Sookie rocks. :)

I prefer Twilight.

Sookie, of course. I like Twilight and have seen the movies and read the books, but they just don't compare to Sookie's world. Now, if I were a teenage girl, I would pick Twilight probably. But since I no longer inhabit that world of drama, I'll go with Sookie. And Eric is so hot. :)

Right now it's Twilight. Maybe if I got to read True Blood it would change.

I choose the Twilight series because I have not read any of the Sookie books. I am intrigued to however, so this may be the start of a new, beautiful relationship. I enjoyed the Twilight series because they were an easy read and I got through them quickly with little thought.

I like Twilight better because I read the whole series. I love Sookie but I've only ever watched True Blood.

I have never had the chance to read the "true blood" books. Gah I am so torn. True blood is my favorite show but twilight is my favorite series. I am split down the middle. They are both great for their own reasons. I am going to have to go with true blood because tonight I am feeling a bit frisky! ;)

If I had to choose between the two I would pick True Blood cause Twilight just doesn't have any grit and it's very unrealistic...HOWEVER, if I'm gonna be honest I would say my fave of all time is The Vampire Diaries!

I'll pick Twilight between the 2, although I'd pick Christopher Moore tops. The Twilight movies really have a unique feel.

I've read a few of the Sookie Stackhouse books and would like to finish the rest. That being said, I've read the full Twilight series, and love them to pieces! I would definitely have to vote for Twilight between the two!

We do however need a Buffy resurgence I think! :)

I read the Twilight Series and am now reading the Sookie Stackhouse Series. I'm on the fourth one and I can't put them down.I like them the best, maybe because they are not YA books like the Twilight books are. If I won these I would keep them like treasures, since my current sets are used books.

I actually haven't read either.. but I liked the twilight movies alright and I liked "the host" by stephanie meyer... so I'm voting twilight!

I am addicted to True Blood and cannot wait for the next season to start. I just love all of the characters. I have always loved every show or movie with a vampire theme, but I am having a hard time getting in to the Twilight series. I find them a little too brooding and depressing.

I am a twilight series lover, but I haven't read the other, so who knows?!

But I pretty much like them all. Except Twilight. I tried to like it. I really did. But the writing wasn't very good, and the story wasn't very good, either... But Sookie? Love her. Anita Blake? Love her too. Well, up until it all turned into a dirty orgy with vampires and wolves and cats, oh my.

I have read 4 of the Sookie books and I just finished Season 1 of True Blood. I love that it is a little more gritty and grown up than Twilight. While Twilight is awesome in its own right, it doesn't always hold my attention like the Sookie Stackhouse series!

Buffy is what really introduced me to the vampire genre but Twilight got me reading vampire books. I hated the movie and couldn't get into True Blood either. HBO shows must be too dark and graphic for me. But I do think I prefer the Sookie books to Twilight.

I would go with True Blood. I really really enjoyed the Twilight books and the movies but they are for the younger crowd. I haven't read any of the True Blood books but I love the show. It's definitely more for grown ups. lol
