DOVE® Ice Cream at BlogHer '11

This year, DOVE® Ice Cream – a proud sponsor of BlogHer ’11 – celebrates 55 years of the perfect marriage of irresistibly rich, creamy ice cream with silky smooth DOVE® chocolate. We’re commemorating the occasion by adding even more chocolate to every DOVEBAR® and introducing delicious new flavors: Peanut Butter Swirl DOVEBAR®, and three mouth-watering new pints, including Chocolate Peanut Butter, Chocolate Dulce de Leche and Chocolate Cherry Amaretto.

To Have and To Hold
Created with love by Greek-American founder Leo Stefanos, DOVE® Chocolate has been a rich family tradition since the 1950s. After witnessing his son racing down the street after an ice cream truck, the Chicago candy store owner developed the DOVEBAR® out of concern for his children’s safety. Hand-dipping ice cream in premium chocolate, Leo took months to refine the recipe, naming the new treat after this south side candy shop, a moniker for its “peaceful” quality. Those first rich, creamy DOVEBAR® were an instant success, but it wasn’t until Leo’s son grew up and followed in his father’s footsteps that DOVE® Chocolate became known from coast to cast. By the late 1970s, over one million DOVEBAR® were sold in a single year by street vendors to eager children and adults.

I was going to say the Dove Miniatures but then I realized I have them in the freezer right now. Just love them and the size is perfect.

I haven't tried the Chocolate Ganache so that sounds like what I will be looking for next for

I LOVE the chocolate/dark chocolate DOVEBAR, but it's quite possible the new Peanut Butter Swirl will replace it as my favorite...

My favorites have to be the minatures in Dark chocolate, that way my twins aren't ever sure how many tidbits I'm eating instead of them. :)

The chocolate ice cream with dark chocolate bar is always the one that seems to call my name the loudest, but I'd also like to try the new Peanut Butter Swirl.

The peanut butter and caramel swirl both sound amazing! And I've never tried the ice cream in the tub... YUM! Dove is my favorite!

MomRN 5 pts

All the flavors sound delicious but I'd most love to try the Chocolate Peanut Butter because I absolutely love chocolate and peanut butter together. The Mint Chocolate Chip would be my second choice. Now I'm craving ice cream just thinking about these! :)
