Easter Weekend + Dinner Menu

Hope you had a great Easter!

I love this time of year, the warm sunny weather puts a new outlook on everything.

This weekend, I scrubbed our house top to bottom with Mrs. Jones Soapbox non-toxic cleaning products. Thanks to my friend Katie  for the heads up!

I'm a cleaning fanatic and to be honest, didn't think these products would hold up to my arsenal of supplies but they totally shocked me, working just as good & smelling 100% better!

If you read my last post, Sofia had a little vom session in her car seat (thank you for your emails, she is feeling much better!) anyways, I Mrs. Jones'ed the heck out of the car seat and it looks brand spanking new! I used the Soapy solution mixed with hot water and a washcloth, also scrubbed the leather seats and it worked great. Definitely recommend!

Easter morning Sofia "wowwww'ed" her way down the stairs & went straight to the goodies. Unfortunately, the Easter bunny brought her a wagon with a manufacturer defect (Mike was not too happy to find that out, after he was almost finished!) but that didn't stop her from hunting for eggs. The first one, she picked up, gave it a shake, popped it open and yelled "NACK NACK!" "NOOO DO-DA!" She always makes a point to let our dog know he can't have any. ;)

We went to brunch at our favorite diner then headed to my parents house for dinner. My niece and Sofia had an egg hunt but Sofia was more interested in throwing around the Easter grass, which was deemed Easter pom-poms.

She also is 100% opposed to family pictures, toddlerhood, fun stuff.

Here's what we're working with this week:

Monday| Easter leftovers

Tuesday| Grilled burgers, loaded cheese fries with bacon, green onions & buffalo ranch & broccoli

Wednesday| Skillet chicken parm (I'll post the recipe soon), French beans & garlic bread

Thursday| Italian Chopped Salad - finely chop Romaine, mozzarella, pepperoni, cherry tomatoes, pepperoncini & green bell peppers then toss together with your favorite Italian dressing

Friday| Dinner Out

Saturday| Grilled BBQ fish, corn on the cob & scalloped potatoes

Happy Monday, friends!
