Easy Homemade Kettle Corn

I used to always think you had to go to festivals and fairs to get kettle corn. Low and behold, you can make it in the comfort of your own home when ever you want it!
1/4 c. vegetable oil
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 unpopped popping corn
a little bit of salt (to taste)
Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat and then mix in sugar. Stir in unpopped popcorn into the oil and sugar mixture. Cover and shake consistently until there are 2-3 seconds in between pops. Remove from heat and continue shaking until popping completely stops. Pour kettle corn into a large bowl and stir as it cools to keep it from sticking together. Sprinkle a tiny bit of salt over it to taste and...VOILA! It tastes just like festival kettle corn!
