Easy Slow Cooker Roast
By dundundunsupercass on October 24, 2010
When it gets cold, I want a warm meal to heat me through. And as many of you know, I do love my slow cooker. So yesterday when I was killing time at the grocery store, while waiting for tech support to figure out my cell phone issues next door, I got a pork roast on sale.
So this morning, I sliced large gold potato's in quarters, and put them in my crock pot. I topped them with salt, pepper, 1/2 of a sliced onion, and my pork roast. Then in a separate bowl, I mixed one can of beef broth, 1 packet of onion soup mix, and topped the roast with it. I put the lid on, turned it on low, and happily walked away.
Then, low & behold, 7 hours later, my 3 lb. roast was done. And juicy. And yummy.
I could go on, but you should just make it to try for yourself.
