Editor / Freelance Writers Needed for Sports Site

GameOnLA.com
is a brand new online sports destination. The site blends the
immediacy of local sports coverage with the user-friendly interface
of national websites. Featuring an interactive calendar, superb writing
and
reporting, and high-quality video and photography, GameOnLA.com is your one-stop localized sports information
destination. The site will officially launch in January 2009.

We are looking for freelance sportswriters to contribute to the site. Love
of local sports in LA is a plus. Freelance positions will be paid on a
project basis and fees can be negotiated directly with the site
founders.

We are also looking for a Editor to act as the website's
gatekeeper,
selecting and and assigning all story concepts. Will work directly with
the management to gather, re-purpose and create content. The editor
will also assemble stories and manage the daily, weekly and monthly
workload of the website and be the primary liaison with all
freelancers. This may be a salaried position (with option for equity)
