Embroidery Inspiration: Toilet Paper

Yes, it's true. I've been inspired by toilet paper. While I didn't go so far as to embroider actual toilet paper, I noticed that plain white paper products often have simple imprinted designs. I could not wait to get out the marker.
I traced the pattern with a marker; there are dots and lines.
I then traced the resulting design onto paper.
And then onto the fabric. I chose DMC floss colors 304, 352, 353, 367, 368, 369 and 743. I used backstitch for everything except the leaves and center of the flower which are satin stitch.
Proof positive that inspiration can truly be found anywhere! Check your paper products; I'd love to see what you come up with. Next project: figure out what to do with this little embroidered piece. Perhaps something for the bathroom?
