In a rare, bold move, the Moon eclipses Mars tonight. She’ll slide right in front of the Red Planet, obliterating him from our view here on Earth. This indicates emotion blocking action. After a week of exhausting work, you may feel as if you’ve reached the end of your rope. If so, don’t ignore your feelings. Talk it all out with a trusted friend or have a good cry, and get some sleep. By the way, if your local sky cooperates, you can watch this Moon-swallowing-Mars action. It happens at 10:51 PM Pacific Time — for the East Coast, that’s 1:51 AM tomorrow. Timing is everything, though, and this one happens quickly, making it easy to miss.
The Moon’s in Cancer today, rapidly approaching tomorrow’s First Quarter Moon.
Once again we have 4 active aspects:
Sun square Jupiter: This week, folks just don’t know when enough is enough. Be very careful not to overeat, overreach or be self-indulgent. Beware of inflation.
Mercury square Mars: Temper, temper! Let’s leave it at the door this morning and forget to pick it up on our way out. Laughing at ourselves helps a lot.
Jupiter Sextile Uranus:Scientific inventions and breakthroughs, the dizzying growth of the technology field and new innovations increase the freedom of humanity.
Saturn trine Pluto: Forward momentum is aligned with past purpose at this time. We are driven to grow and succeed and to create something of lasting value.
