I thought I would do an end of year blog roundup of health & wellness blogs from the BlogHer Blog Lists.
Don't forget...If you have a blog, you can add your blog to the BlogHer Blog List so others can find you. It's also a great place to check out if you are looking for other women bloggers to link to in one of your posts. And if you blog about health & wellness, make sure you're on my Google Reader by adding your link to my post - Health & Wellness Bloggers: I Want You For My Google Reader.
Here is a random cherry-picking of health & wellness blogs I thought you might like.
I am a wife. I am a mommy. I am a seminary student. I am also a warrior battling multiple chronic illnesses. In life, I have learned that sometimes things happen and life doesn't always go back to the way things were. Instead, you must find a new kind of normal. This is my journey.
A Healthy Kitchen -- A Healthy Life...
“Oh, now I get it.” That’s what I said when I first started learning this information. If you truly want to get healthy, this may just be the most important information you’ll ever read.
A lot of people have asked me how I lost so much weight TWICE. It’s impossible to tell a big story in the space of 300 words, (my average post size), but if you really care, read on. By the end, you might just find yourself in shock and awe (doesn’t everyones life cause a bit of shock and awe?).
I live in the San Francisco Bay area and work as a nurse practitioner. I am also a mom, wife and avid fitness enthusiast, writer and book reader. Blog entries are inspired by real women's questions and concerns.
Coping with life: A blog about life, family and mental health.
I'm a Jacqueline of All Trades and actually a Master of some of them! Above all, I'm a wife and a mother. I'm a registered dietitian with a Masters Degree in Nutrition. I earned a certificate from La Varenne Cooking School in France. Most recently, I completed a college level program in Chemical Dependency Treatment. I've been an elementary school teacher, a Realtor, a college instructor and a cook. I've had my own segment on local morning news, worked in public relations and taught at a culinary school. I've been a spokesperson for the food industry and worked in public health. Now I'm a freelance food and nutrition writer.
Are you looking for new ways to get your family in shape? This blog is to inspire families, like yours, with ideas that will get you on the right path to a healthier lifestyle. I am a military spouse and busy mom of four and a Certified Group and Personal Fitness Trainer, but you can call me Spin Diva. Finding the time to exercise, energize and revitalize is not easy, but we can do it together. I am passionate about teaching others how to reach their fitness goals and bring the kids along with them.
I am on a quest to live a healthier life. Healthier means to me happiness with myself physically and emotionally, happiness in my professional life and happiness in my relationships. I am striving to be a better me! I am looking to make small changes in my life and trying to be more "present". It sounds so lame but I want to be the best "ME" I can be. I know I am better than what I have allowed myself to be. I am ready to make my 30's my best decade yet!
Even though some consider me small, I gained some weight in college and was recently diagnosed with high cholesterol. I am using this blog to help me lose weight and gain a healthier lifestyle in the process. My goal is to do this through eating healthier and working out a lot, but of course... no "diet"!
I'm Becky, 24, and I have Type 1 Diabetes. This is where I muddle my way through my first year of dealing with it and muse over the minutia of existence.
