Michelle Woo's fiance, Matt, is her balancer.  "He’s logical, practical and unflinching.  I, on the other hand, am a spaz."  Read the other ways in which they compliment each other.

One of Loralee Choate's favorite people is her best friend Michelle.  "We both DEEPLY admire and appreciate the things in the other that we lack ourselves.  It makes us work as an amazing, awesome team."

Despite the 26 year age gap, Kirida and her husband's relationship makes sense.  "We both have the same beliefs about life, parenting and marriage.  We make each other laugh."  Read more about how her husband supported her interest in stand-up comedy!

Jenny from Jenny on the Spot and her friend Lisa are "most like nitro and glycerin…She makes me laugh until I snort… I make her laugh to the point of peeing.  If laughter is the best medicine, then Lisa and I are verrrrry well-medicated!"

Amy from Amy Turn Sharp loves that she has a husband "who will dance with me in shop aisles without flinching!"  Find out what other quirks make them fit.

Kelly from Mocha Momma thanks her daughter for making her work so hard.  "She’s made me laugh and kept me sane.  She’s cheered me on and always been on my side."

Barbara Shallue feels "it took a balance of me and him working together as a team to make our kids mighty fine.  Just like the wrong ratio of salt and pepper can ruin a dish, a little too much of either one of us would have been a child-raising disaster!"

She sees the world through younger eyes and makes me see things differently -- better. Her perspective opens my eyes to a different way of thinking about some things.

We compliment each other with our strengths and weaknesses. He is the Yang to my Ying. At the same time we have a lot in common. We both have similar goals and beliefs. With him I can truly be myself and vice-versa.

I am better with my husband because we make each other laugh! We met when I was studying abroad in Edinburgh, so we had to do long distance for a while before we got married. Our first dance at our wedding was the song "Better Together" by Jack Johnson

willitara 5 pts

I'm better with my daughter because she constantly proves that despite my mistakes things have a way of working out. She always tells me not to sweat the small stuff and I help her remember that the little things build into a bigger picture.

I am better with my BFF which just so happens to be my dog Speedy :D It's true, he's the best friend I've ever had cause he is always there for me, no matter how sad I may be feeling and he never tells me 'later'...He makes me wake up with a smile on my face and when I lay down to go to sleep he's right there by my side. I am better with my husband because he always keeps my world in tack. We have been married for 24 yrs and seen it all but even in the worst of things he is always there for me to hold me up, wipe my tears, calm my nerves and best of all HOLD me! He is my glue!

Lisanne624 5 pts

I'm better with my husband, because he reigns in my impulsive behavior. We would have appeared on the news with a house overrun with cats if he hadn't put his foot down over my hoarding instinct!

carolpie 5 pts

I am better with my hubby because he is just so darn nice, but that is why I married him. When I met him it was like he was Mr. Sunshine! He never tries to change me and does anything for me. I am a bit hyper and crazy and he is mellow for the most part, so it works well. I get him going and he helps me. When one of us doesn't want to do something we do it together and get it done. I am tighter with money and he has losened me up not to worry so much about it all. Also we have great kids because they are a blend of us.

mail4rosey 5 pts

My hubby is frugal, and I am not. He is strict, and I am not so much so. He uses common sense in big decisions, I use emotions. He balances me and keeps me off the fast track of destruction. And I balance him as well. We are a wonderful fit.

mommyto 5 pts

Whenever I'm freaking out about something, my BF gives me a little pat on the leg and says, "It'll be okay." It's a joke between us, but it always makes me laugh and improves any situation. We're a good team.

marcirp 5 pts

She's only 12 and she's still a child but my daughter is my best friend.
We try to spend time together every week and she loves being with me more than anyone.
Why would any Mom have a 'best friend' being their child?
Because in the next year or so, Mom won't be cool anymore. She'll be a teen and I'll be pushed aside for her friends.. and that's the way it should be.
But for now, my little girl is still MY little girl! <3

I'm so much better with my hubby. He is always so calm while I'm the stressed one. He's much more outgoing than I am. The list goes on! I don't know what I'd do with him. :)

Taminar 5 pts

We make each other laugh, we take care of each other when we're sick, we commiserate with each other after a bad day at work. We know each others' strengths and shortcomings. He keeps me from maxing out my credit cards and I encourage him to splurge on himself sometimes.

Do you remember hearing the story about when the Earth began, the creatures had four arms and four legs and God split them apart to make men and women, and we spend our lives looking for our other half? I have certainly found mine.
