Rick Perry during his presidential race and as the national spokeswoman for the Speaker Education Project. In her past life, she climbed the newsroom ladder from copy editor and page designer to photographer and award-winning staff writer for organizations such as the North County Times. She’s been recognized as a rising star by SDMetro’s 40 Under 40 Awards in 2011 and SDNN.com as one of San Diego’s 35 Under 35 Future Community Leader. In addition to her public relations clients, the prolific blogger serves as a syndicated contributing editor and political consultant on the 2012 presidential race for BlogHer. She also writes for center-right political blogs, SDRostra and the Flash Report. The Michigan native graduated cum laude from Western Michigan University with a degree in English and journalism.
