"Ludacris, you just stepped in it, and like Don Imus, you don't get a pass," begins Actor Erika Alexander in an open post to Ludacris on BlogHer.com that's part of WomenCount's Stop the Silence on Sexism in the media campaign.

Alexander goes on to say more. What do you think?

It's about what's right. Calling anybody a Bitch is serious...fightin' words indeed. Calling somebody a nigger is serious, implying someone is a terrorist is serious.

NO BODY get a pass for being an ASSHOLE!

Somehow we have allowed this election season to cloud our judgement.  Perhaps if enough women stop accepting Bitch as a term of endearment maybe others will stop using it like its love language.

When Luda calls Hillary a Bitch he is also calling me one!  See that's how we have to combat this kind of foolishness.  Take it personal.  Take it PERSONAL!  And let his record label and those that sponsor him know that we are outraged and we vote with our pocketbooks!

Love,

Babz

Check out this hopeful Obama video from Maria Muldaur’s “Yes We Can!” Tons of friends, too, like Amma, Joan Baez, Jane Fonda, Holly Near, Phoebe Snow, Marianne Williamson, and more.

I am so tired of it-during the HC campaign, the words and actions of the commentators Chris Matthews and the late Tim Russert outraged me, though I was never a big HC fan. If you were not wild about Obama you were a ball-breaking b**** as was HC for presuming to run. It's quite outrageous, and pervasive.

I am not a Obama or Hillary fan and was appalled when I heard the words to the rap song. I also think McCain's ad comparing Obama to Paris and Britney was in very poor taste and I for one am embarrassed and tired of politicians playing to the lowest rung on the ladder.

We may not have quite the same perspective, but I share your outrage ( http://backyardconservative.blogspot.com/2008/07/o... )!
