Jadyn: Mommy…mommy…mommy
Me: Yes Jadyn
Jadyn: I need “i-quweam”
Me: You cannot have ice cream for breakfast Jadyn
Jadyn: what about juice mommy? I need juice mommy
My day begins like this every day. I take that
back. This portion of the day goes like this every morning an today I just needed
more sleep. And it simply
does not help that my husband has decided to hang black-out curtains in
our bedroom, making it that much more impossible to drag myself out of bed
in the
morning. I need the sun rays to help compel me forward through another
24 hour period. There is definately no homeschool today. I think these bouts of
extreme fatigue are a combination of my months of sleep deprivation
and my lupus which as of my post yesterday has been giving me problems.
I sadly think the symptoms may have to do with my IUD which upsets me
because then I will have to take it out. I m so
contraceptive-challenged....
I dragged myself downstairs and fixed Jadyn cereal. The only
thing I can manage to see in the pantry. She has forgotten about juice for the
moment. I turn Dora on. I thank God
daily for Dora. And lay down on the couch. I have at least 30 minutes. I hear
this nagging voice in my head say that I shouldn’t let my child eat in front of
the TV. I quickly tell this voice to shutup and talk to me again after they have
twins and a 2 year old. Clearly, that voice has no idea that God created TV
for exactly this reason.
The twins should be sleep for another 2 hours at least. I
hope. Thank you Dora. Amen.
