When I started listing my "Great Finds of 2007," I noticed that the majority of the items on the list were beauty products. So, I decided that those particular finds deserve their own list:

* Tweezerman SPA Slant Tweezer: The most precise pair of tweezers for eyebrows (and, uh, chin hairs). They come with a Lifetime Sharpening Guarantee: When (if!) they need sharpening, you can ship them back to Tweezerman and they’ll do it for free. I've been using mine for months and haven't yet found the need for this service, though. Pricey, but once purchased you're likely not to buy another pair of tweezers for years and years, if ever.
* Vasanti Tinted Lip Balm: When my lips are feeling dry & flaky in the afternoon from my morning lipstick wear, but I still want some color, I reach for this stuff. Heck, sometimes I use it in the morning INSTEAD of lipstick. I have it in "Bahamas," and it smells like suntan lotion (one of my favorite smells).
* Ganache for Lips All-Natural Lip Balm: Made with real Scharffen Berger chocolate, and, depending on the flavor, coffee or vanilla extracts! And they also smell delicious! A true indulgence for your lips, I have the Chocolate Parfait Collection of Chocolate Mint, Mocha Latte, Chocolate Hazelnut and Vanilla Mousse. And I'm trying not to eat them all.
* Pre de Provence Shea Butter Enriched Triple Milled Bath Soap in Honey Almond is all-natural, ultra-moisturizing, doesn't leave residue and lasts forEVer, up to 2 months for one bar. It's also a soap/moisturizer/exfoliator all in one, which means no more dry, crusty heels! My most recent pedicurist actually commented on how nice my feet are, and I know it's because of this soap. As long as this miracle product is available for purchase online, I will not be buying any other bath bar.
* Lucky No. 6 by Liz Claiborne/Lucky Brand: LOVE the way this fragrance smells - mysterious, sexy, a bit spicy and floral and musky all at once. Appropriate for any age, it's light enough for the office, playful enough for going out on the town, yummy enough for date night - and comes in the coolest-looking bottle.
* Frederic Fekkai’s Winter Hair Anti-Static Weightless Mist: One of my top 3 dislikes about winter is static-y hair. This spritz negates static & flyaways, smells like a tropical cocktail and adds texture, softness & body, all at once. I first bought it back in February, and I'm still using the same bottle; in anticipation of running out of it before this winter is over, I searched online to see if it’s still available (it was labeled a “limited edition” item last winter). At press time, it’s currently nowhere to be found on Sephora.com or Fekkai’s own website. So I called the flagship 5th Ave store to do some sleuthing (I'm telling you, it's worth the trouble). I was told his winter line is shipping late this year and to check back in a month. Between Frederic inventing this product and his Glossing Cream, the guy is marriage material in my book.
* Yes to Carrots Pampering Hair Mud Conditioner: Made with paraben-free formulations of beta-carotene, detoxifying Dead Sea mud and tons of minerals, this stuff smells fabulous. And it's so creamy & moisturizing I also use it in place of shave gel for my legs. I’m about to try 3 other products from the Yes to Carrots line and have a feeling I’m going to love them just as much!
* Alba Coconut Cream Lip Balm: If you don't like the smell of coconut, then stay away from this one. Otherwise, it's very moisturizing, feels great on and is all-natural (which I'm heavy into these days, if you haven't already noticed). Only gripe: no SPF.
* Alba Jasmine & Vitamin E Moisture Cream: Fabulous as both a day- and a night-time moisturizer, it's the Goldilocks of face creams: not to heavy, not too light and great under makeup. Once again, I’m going to go out on a limb here and put in a plug for an entire line of products. (Next Alba product I’m trying: Green Tea Eye Gel.)
* Lancome Color Fever Lipstick in PS Kiss: A “happy medium” red for everyone. Still a bit skittish about looking too vamp? Go
