FEROCIOUS FRIDAY WINE REVIEW DECEMBER 14, 2012
By kimchernow on December 14, 2012
I’m not sure how many there are out there in the world, but many have held strong and some even proven themselves to be true over time.
We are known by the company we keep – like Kim and wine. My Oster Inspire is going to take a break this week to recharge so The Ferocious Grape can feature another one of my favourites: beer.
I disagree that diamonds are a girls best friend, because Monk, Blonde, Blacksmith and Wit are truly my favourites this Friday. They are the hand crafted, locally brewed, tastiest beers by none other than the Village Brewery. With over 150 years of beer brains behind them, The Village Brewery has taken beer to another level. It’s true that good things come to those who wait, and Calgarians have waited patiently since the initail buzz that the Village was being erected.
Like the Grape, they are committed to our community, supporting our local arts and festivals. Grassroots all the way!
Stop by the Ferocious Grape this Friday. Time will tell and a few sips of the brew which one (or ones) you’ll be taking home after a long week at work. As they say, it takes a village.
Make sure to join our wine club or sign up to receive our newsletter. Two free, fantastic Ferocious features!
PS We will be open this Sunday December 16th from 12pm-4pm for extended hours in December. And to make your shopping that much more enjoyable we will have something open for tasting!
Call 403.457.0099 or e-mail us at email@example.com.
Today we have the super fun Monica, from Village Brewery in the store from 12:00-2:00PM, to pour and share all about the different selections they offer….you don’t want to miss out!
You will be able to mix and match your favorites. Plus we have brought in 1.89L Growlers…great for sharing and parties.
Lets all take a brake from wine and try some really cool beer!
