Ferocious Friday Wine Review December 21, 2012
By kimchernow on December 21, 2012
This weeks Ferocious Friday at the Grape is all about bubbles.
We are very excited to be featuring the beautiful Domaine Chandon.
The founders are from France who I’m sure you have heard of, Moet & Chandon. For decades they perfected the making of tiny bubbles floating in your flute. They are leaders in sustainable farming growing Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, the traditional varietals of French Champange. The expansion to the United States began in 1971 where they found it all at Mt. Veeder, Carneros & Yountville California.
Stop by for a sample and stock up the the New Year.
Make sure to join our wine club or sign up to receive our newsletter. Two free, fantastic Ferocious features!
PS We will be open this Sunday December 23rd from 12pm-4pm for extended hours in December. And to make your shopping that much more enjoyable we will have something open for tasting!

Chandon Blanc de Noirs | California
Fruit-driven and full-flavored, this sparkling wine featuring Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier has become one of our most popular wines. Chandon Blanc de Noirs is characteristically a delicate salmon color. Dark cherry, currant and strawberry dominate both aroma and flavor with hints of cassis and blackberry. Definitley finishes with a creamy texture.
Chandon Rose | California
Rosé captures the excitement of adventurous wine lovers for its opulent fruit flavors and richness. Intense ripe strawberry, juicy watermelon, and fresh red cherry fruit aromas and flavors are interwoven with apple, pear, and stone fruit.
