A few of my favorite sites
by Susan Wagner

I'm celebrating Christmas with my family today on very little sleep, because I came home from midnight Mass at 2:00 am and laid in bed until 3:00 am wondering if I really should have had all that coffee before church and then was awakened at 5:45 by my very excited seven-year-old son, who patted me gently on the arm and said, "Merry Christmas, Mom." The rest of the day is a blur of presents and Bloody Marys and a nap on the sofa and hours of racing Hot Wheels cars because Santa brought us the kids a Hot Wheels track.

I am happy, but very very tired, and also barely dressed because it's a holiday and I never left the house. Also I am all shopped out because those Hot Wheels tracks were incredibly difficult to find this year (but completely worth it). So tonight, my holiday gift to you is this: here is the short list of my absolute favorite fashion and shopping sites. You're welcome!

Who doesn't love Manolo the Shoeblogger? Particularly now that he is Manolo the head of the conglomerate of the wonderful blogs about the fashion topics? Like the plus size girls and the brides. Sorry, it's hard to write about Manolo and not write LIKE Manolo.

The girls at LikeWise always know what's hott; this week, they have the low down on the post-holiday sales.

The It Lists is your one-stop source for life style (more than just fashion!).

Felicia at The Well-Heeled Society always has a good find and bon mot, and she proves that single and stylish are not mutually exclusive terms.

Kristopher Dukes offers the perfect balance of high fashion trend spotting and remarkable writing. When I grow up, I want to be Kristopher.

In case you're not sure what's a do and what's a don't, The Fashion Police will keep you straight.

Because fashion isn't all about hemlines and heel heights: Five Resolutions makes me think and keeps me motivated.

Finally, in case you are the type who wonders how on earth anyone can take fashion so SERIOUSLY, hop on over to Fifi Lapin and laugh yourself silly. Because NOTHING is cuter than a cartoon bunny wearing the latest runway looks.

No matter what you celebrate this week, I wish you peace and joy and good fashion sense. And now I have to go put some yoga pants on and climb back into bed for some beauty rest. Happy holidays!
