WARNING! This post may contain L Word spoilers. Read at your own risk.
Sunday night marked the kick off of the sixth, and final season, of The L Word. Whether you love it, or hate it, or love to hate it, or hate that you love it, this show has become part of our culture. It has become a touchstone for lesbians around the world. Even if you don't watch the show, you probably have a basic idea of who the main characters are and what's going on. You'd really have to be living under a rock to not know the plot hook for the final season of our most beloved show. It would be like living in the early 80's and not knowing that someone shot JR. Or living in the early 90's and not knowing that someone killed Laura Palmer. These were the great mysteries of their time, and whether you watched or not, everyone wanted to know,"who shot JR?" and "who killed Laura Palmer?"
So, for those who are completely unaware...Oh my god! They killed Jenny! You bastards! (Sorry, I couldn't resist the South Park reference. And I can't believe no one else has used it) Yes, it's true. The plot for the last season will be a who done it, and the question we all want answered is; who killed Jenny Schecter? I do have my own theory, and or maybe hope of what happened that lead to Jenny being found dead in Bette and Tina's swimming pool, but I'll get to that. First I want to get my mini ranting out of the way.
Oh, but first, if you haven't seen the episode you might want to go read a recap. I'm not going to do an episode recap here, because so many others have done a fantastic job of doing so already. If you are looking for good recaps I would recommend checking out the following (may contain snark):

In case you didn't pick up on it, this episode was all about cheating. How each character defines it, how they each feel about it, who has cheated, and who might cheat again seemed to be the bones of this episode. And you thought it was all about bat-shit-crazy Jenny. So yeah. We start off with Nikki cheating on Jenny with Shane. But in the words of Nikki, "Jenny, she only ate me out." So I guess that somehow makes it okay? Can someone explain to me how that's not cheating. Though I will say, I thought Nikki and Jenny had broken up. So was Nikki really cheating?
That doesn't really make it okay for Shane to go after Nikki. Isn't there some kind of code about not going after your best friend's ex-girlfriend. Or at least not just days after the break up? Wait a minute. Didn't Carmen date Jenny before she dated Shane? Anyway. Shane is Shane, and she's all sad about Molly. So, really she had no choice, if you speak Shane logic. The whole Shane explaining her way out of this to Jenny was classic. I had a spit coffee, laugh out loud moment while reading Dorothy Snarker's recaps, at Dorothy Surrenders. I'm not sure I can do it justice explaining it, you should go look for yourself, but it's a shot of Shane during the "Jenny, I'm sorry, please forgive me scene." She's got her hands up about chest high, kind of like she's defending someone dribbling a basketball towards her, and the caption says, "Nothing says "I'm sorry I fucked your girlfriend" like jazz hands." I'm not sure why, but that struck me as super funny. Not that all of her
