So we finally splurged and bought a PVR. We also bought a new flat screen TV, which is great, but I am definitely more excited about the PVR! For months my friends have been making fun of me, letting me know they don't do commercials, they're going to watch it later, what do I mean I missed it? why didn't I PVR it...blah blah blah. Here I was with our huge old school big screen, which took up half the living room, only watching TV in between the hours of 9pm (after kids fall asleep) & 11 pm (before I fall asleep). Sure, there's "On Demand" but it hardly has all the shows I follow. It also goes back only 2 episodes, about 3 weeks back so if you missed something earlier you're screwed or later & you have to wait another 3 weeks to get caught up. What is with "On Demand"?! Why don't they show everthing yet?
Anyway, last night, after my kids went to sleep I finally sat down & enjoyed me some high definition TV. I customized our setting, went through the guide, and of course, found NOTHING I was interested in to PVR...and that, everybody, is how my life usually pans out...
Can't wait to set up the Wii though!
