When love knocks will we listen? Will we see the signs everywhere?
When meeting someone new most of us get a first impression. If its friendship we seek then we know if this person will be apart of our lives both long and short term. I believe people enter our lives to teach us something either about ourselves or the world around us. With them we see life in a whole new light.
When love is before us, sometimes we are scared of the impact it will have on our life. Sometimes we are almost to scared to enter that world with another from either past relationships or fear of the future wih another or fear of rejection. Will they leave eventually? Do they really care about the person I am? What impact will I bestow upon their lives?
These are questions I have asked but their comes a time when we throw caution to the wind as something else in us takes over.
I believe in Destiny! I believe in Fate! I believe we as people are all brought together for different reasons but as love another person and give them all we have to offer including at times giving up who we are as a person to make sacrafices for the one we love and wish to keep in our life at any cost.
I have learned that giving up who you are as a person is hamful! I lost myself for the good of the family and sacrificed to the one i loved for far too long! It all crashed and burned into a mess of emotionl heartbreak. Should we stay when we are unhappy for the good of the family? Should we give up who we truly are as a person for the one we love? NO!!!
I begged for far to long....I wished for far to long that things would get better. in the process i lost myself and who i was.
Now i am discovering again who i am. What makes me happy, what doesn't and what is truly for the good of my family.
The good for my family is for me to love who I am. The good of the family is for me to be who i truly am. The family is complete only when i have discovered who i am and can be. How can i teach my children love and sacrifice while they watched as i sacrificed who i was as a person. I lost my fire for life.
The last couple months have handed me life lessons.
I have learned to truely be loved one must not forget who they are nor shall we hide who we are to please another. God made us all unique and sufficating who we are is only hurting ourselves.
I have learned not to give up the people you love for another! Especially your family! Because your family will always be there to help you pick up the pieces when life shatters around you!
If love enters your life in any form grab hold and see where it takes you as there is a lesson to be learned from them.
If your in a sufficating relationship...Find yourself....only then can you stand strong...let them rediscover who they are.... together you can conquere the world. If the relationship is meant to last forever then it will withstand!
Everyday I am learning something new about myself...my life and where I'm headed and I look forward to what the future has in store for me....
