And so... the date with Iris Blue Eyes... We met at one of my favorite wineries here in the Temecula Valley on a warm Sunday afternoon. Live music, great wine and the misters spraying  us with refreshing cool water. Great setting for a first date. Not too much isolation, live music and lots of hope. When the guitarist came over to us and aked if we were enjoying the music we both fibbed and said."yes very much"! We were so busy getting to know one another that they could have been playing wash boards and we would not have known the difference.-(: We both said that we felt as though we had known one another before and I as a woman felt so safe in his company. The safest and most relaxed I've felt since by husband's passing. As we shared some intimate details of our lives I realized that I was feeling that same feeling that I had felt when I met my sweet husband 34 years ago from across a crowded restaurant. Wow!! However, having just had a series of not to great dates I had already made a conscious decision to take it really slow this time and not give my heart away. Remembering finally that the heart does not have a brain. We have  our next date in a week when we both return from trips and  weii've spoken by phone each day. Hopeful.  to be contnued
