Daycare Drama Redux:
This whole process makes me sick. Literally, sick. My blood pressure raises and my stomach gets queasy and I just want to quit my job and never leave the house with him again. We have a few leads, but there is always something: too far away, too expensive, too inexperienced. I was on a website the other day for a daycare center, where they posted a picture of their “infant room”, a room with individual cribs placed side by side, about 6 on each side. I started crying because all I could think of was my poor baby, just another face in a room full of other peoples’ most precious resource.
Basically, I’m a mess.
