Finished Object: Handknit Milan Jacket for My Boy

I finished this sweater months and months ago, but it has been way too hot to get some pictures of Noah wearing it. Last week we had a brisk morning so I took advantage of the great light for a mini photo session with my little redhead. I'm so sad that Noah really isn't going to get a whole lot of wear out of this.  Fall in DC is still warm until October, so he will probably grow out of it before then.  I should have knit one size larger.  I just can't get enough of these pictures! silly grin on chair Pattern: Milan Jacket by Louisa Harding Book: Natural Knits for Babies and Moms (This is one of my favorite knitting books for baby and moms. It's a great book for beginning knitters and has a fantastic variety of patterns from hats, baby sweaters, shawls for mom, and even this maternity sweater, which I knit for myself when I was pregnant with Xander. Yarn: Worsted Weight 100% Organic Wool from Green Mountain Spinnery purchased 3 years ago at Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival Needle Size: 6 standing sitting in rocking chair stand squat side angle sitting sitting on steps
