First Blog..what's going on?! I'll tell you :)

A wife and mother of 2 needs security. Needs to know that everyday needs of the family can be meet. Needs to be reassured that nothing will happen to her family. On that count.. how can that be managed in this
economy?!
I am so excited that Bush passed the economy boost. We will do exactly what we are suppose to do with it. We are looking at a $1800. $1200 for being a married couple. And an added $300 x 2 kids.

We will buy new clothes for the year (I NEED some after having 2 kids in 18 months, I'm not the size 2 I was!). And with ever growning newborn and toddler.. it's endless in buying new clothes in new sizes. My husband looks forward to buying a bigger TV. But I told him not until we get a new house!
Speaking of which.. we're looking to get approved for a mortgage for a new house. I'm just waiting for her to call back with how much!
And in order to get a house, you have to have a good job that's steady. I'm home with the kids. It's a good steady job, unfortunatly.. it pays nothing. (Now is wen I wished we were Canadian and got paid to stay home for a year!) My husband works construction and the hours are not steady. One week, he worked 12 hours and now, 3 weeks later we still can NOT catch up. So he's applied at a job that works contract for Ford. It's a $4/hour decrease in pay. But a steady 40 hours PLUS overtime. A 401K, benifits, and all the extras we've never had. I'm all for myself getting a job. By hubby is oldfashioned and I belong at home.. but how can I agrue when I agree. I think we are getting to the point though where I need a part-time night job. Sure it will be hard on me. But if it means we have the money we need, I don't care.

Well, it's time for dinner and a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do!
